Regsvr32.exe is an application that is used to register dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) and ActiveX controls (formerly called OLE Custom Controls) in the Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows NT registries. For example, to manually register the Sample.ocx ActiveX control, you type the following at the MS-DOS prompt: c:\Regsvr32.exe Sample.ocx NOTE: This assumes that Regsvr32.exe and Sample.ocx are both in the root directory of drive C (c:\).
