Help Desk: You Don't Have Permission to Run AutoExec.

You open the DVD Register file (e.g. DVDReg.mdb), Microsoft Access opens and then you see the following error message:

This error occurs when you open the catalog file using the file association feature of Windows. For example you explore the application folder and right click the catalog file and then select open. Windows knows that this is a Microsoft Access file type and then opens Access and then opens the file into Access. Opening the catalog file directly does not setup the appropriate permissions resulting is the permission error. To open the application you should open the shortcut provided on the Desktop:

or use the shortcut provided in the Start>Programs>Laser Disc Register. The shortcut provides the arguments to setup the appropriate permissions.
