Help Desk: How do I correct Error #438 so that I can start importing new reference titles?

1. The #438 error occurs because the file comdlg32.ocx is not registered correcting on your PC. This problem can be related to installation of ZIP Tools and some times occurs after correcting Error #20476
2. You will need to download a tool provided by Microsoft to manually register the DLL. Registration Tool: REGSVR32.EXE You can also read about how to use the tool: Text Instructions for REGSVR32.EXE
3. Once the tool is downloaded use the following DOS command to manually register the DLL:   C:\Regsvr32.exe COMDLG32.ocx

   The command assumes that both the regsvr32.exe and the comdlg32.ocx are in the root folder on your PC. If not you will need to adjust the command to include the paths to the location where you have saved the files.
