This error occurs during setup.

Issues When Opening the Application
Error #429: "ActiveX component can't create object"
This error occurs when you install the application on a new PC and try to start up the application for the first time.
This application encountered an unexpected Error #91 with message string 'Object variable or with block variable not set'
When opening the application.
"The visual basic module contains a syntax error. Check the code then recompile it."
This occurs after you have installed an upgrade and first try to open it.
"This application must be installed to run. Please run setup from the location where you originally installed the application."
This can occur with Release 1.23 after you have installed the DVDR.
"You Don't have permission to run 'AutoExec"
This can occur when you open the catalog file.
The operating system is not presently configured to run this application?
When opening the application for the first time.
"#2147024770 Specified module could not be found When opening the application for the first time
The application encountered unexpected error #13 with message string 'type mismatch'
When opening the application for the fist time.
Issues Using Rapid Entry
Error #2455 "You have entered an expression that has an invalid reference to the property Form/Report. The property may not exist or may not apply to the object you specified."
This error occurs when you open the Rapid Entry Form. You can't find the Rapid Entry Form and the application appears locked.
Error 2114: DVD Register doesn't support the format of the file 'C:\Program Files\Laser Disc Register\Release xxx\..\Images\xxxx-A.jpg.' so it can't load the picture.
When downloading images from the web server.
DVD Register can't append all the records to the append query.  The Error is: DVD Register didn’t add 1 record to the table due to key violations
When adding a record to your catalog with the Rapid Entry or Rapid Web forms
"The Field 'Your Discs.Title' cannot contain a Null value."
You have just clicked the "Add Record" button.
Error #13 with Rapid Entry and Error -2147352571 with Rapid Web Entry You have tried to add a new title to your personal catalog from the Referecne Catalog
My login doesn't work
Issues with Reference Updates and Live Update
Live Update Error #429: "ActiveX component can't create object
This error occurs during a Live Update session after a successful login but before the update can be downloaded.
The application encountered unexpected Error #3343 with message string 'Unrecognized database format...'
When importing a new reference catalog update file
Error #20476: "The FileName buffer is too small to store the selected file name(s) (Increase MaxFileSize) "
The error occurs when you attempt to use the file selector form when opening a new reference update.
Error #438: Object Doesn't support this property or method. Live Update opens and logs into the server and reports an available update but just prior to starting a download the error occurs. Issue trigged by Windows Security update issued on December 9, 2008. Affects Vista and XP.
Error #438: Object Doesn't support this property or method
Live Update form opens but this error occurs as shoon as you clieck the command button "Start Live Update". Affects PCs with Vista
Issues with Import, Export, Upgrade
Error #3197: "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another use are attempting to change the data at the same time"
This error occurs when you have installed a new version of the DVD Register and attempt to upgrade your previous database. The error occurs during the upgrade procedure.
Error #438  "Object doesn't support this property or method"
This error occurs when you try to open a file for import or for export.
Issues with Backup
Error #52: Bad File Name or Number
This error occurs wheh you export a backup to a CD or DVD Writer.
Something Went Missing
I don't see a menu bar. How do I get it back?
or I dragged the menu bar off the top of the application desktop and closed it.
Web Site Issues
The customer service pages on the web site that are supposed to send me email don't work. What is the work around?
I am using a new PC with Windows XP.
